Dwayne R.

STARTED: 321 lbs
TOTAL LOST: 121 lbs
FOCUS: Rebuilt Strength

“The biggest change I had to make was to stop doubting myself. I had to keep telling myself I could do the workouts and could enjoy them.” — Dwayne R.

Dwayne started his journey at his highest weight of 321 lbs. Through a combination of Ozempic and dedicated lifestyle changes, he dropped down to 200 lbs, losing a total of 121 lbs. However, the medication proved to be a double-edged sword, as he lost significant muscle mass along with the fat.

In the beginning, Dwayne struggled to lift his own body weight. By joining Optimal Training, he learned to overcome that self-doubt and consistently show up. Thanks to the program, he pushed past his limits and successfully reached his lowest weight of 185 lbs.

Since reaching that milestone, Optimal Training guided him to rebuild his functional strength. He has since packed on lean muscle and now maintains a strong, healthy physique at 192 lbs.
